COLUMBIA, SC– On October 28, 2023, Frontline Ministries, Inc., and the Exodus Mandate Project announced the selection of Dran Reese as the recipient of the 2023 Dr. Robert Dreyfus Courageous Christian Leadership Award. Established by Frontline Ministries, Inc., in 2007, this award is presented annually to recognize and honor Christian leaders who have exhibited moral courage through their unique contribution to the Church by advancing Christianity in the culture and life of the nation. This contribution may run counter to the prevailing culture of the Church and society. E. Ray Moore, founder and director of Exodus Mandate personally presented the award to Dran at the Christian Education Initiative (CEI) Summit IV Conference in Chesapeake, VA, on October 28, 2023.
Dran Reese is founder and president of two 501(c)(3) non-profit ministries: The Salt & Light CouncilTM and its initiatives, The Content of Character SeriesTM, Judeo-Christian CaucusTM, Biblical VoterTM and Public School ExitTM.
Dran stated, “I am completely sold out to Jesus Christ. I want to see His name exalted in the public square and government, which is why I started these ministries.”
The Salt & Light Council, formed in January 2009, offers tools, training, and ongoing backend legal support for churches, community groups, and missionaries ready to become salt and light advocates in the government, media, and education mountains. The Content of Character SeriesTM affirms the value and dignity of black Americans by offering statewide
summits with nationally recognized speakers that inform, educate, and activate inner-city communities in public policy and culture through a biblical worldview (www.ContentofCharacterSeries.com).
The Judeo-Christian CaucusTM is a California initiative that coordinates legislators with citizens on pressing issues that affect our Judeo-Christian heritage and values in CA government (www.JudeoChristianCaucus.com).
Biblical VoterTM is a one-stop resource for our national and state voter guides and election resources for voting, including kits for Biblical Voter Registration church and community drives (www.BiblicalVoter.com).
Public School Exit was formed in 2019, to help facilitate an exodus of American children and families from government-controlled education by educating the public and helping families. Dran said, “This is now the movement of our time” (www.PublicSchoolExit.com).
Dran Reese has been married for 31 years and blessed with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She obtained a 4-year scholarship to USC in Business Marketing and, in her earlier years, was a product inventor that launched and sold the company, Ready America. Her signature product QuakeHold! was considered one of the top 100 Products of the Millennium according to the Los Angeles Times. Dran was also featured in the book Women Invent, – among one of the many stories written on her past entrepreneurial success.
Dran also hosts a daily national prayer line www.RepentanceandRestoration.com that prays for America, which all are welcome to join. She is also a member of the Christian Education Initiative (www.Christedu.org). Chaplain E. Ray Moore, president of Frontline Ministries, Inc., director of the Exodus Mandate Project, and former chairman of CEI, noted, “I am honored to present Dran Reese with this award for her leadership, determination, and passion for making Christian education a priority in America, as well as for her excellent work in the Salt and Light Council.”
Dr. Robert Dreyfus, for whom this award is named, is a prominent retired Florida dentist and inventor of a device to relieve neuromuscular pain for dental use. He served as president of the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has given more than 50 years of volunteer work on behalf of family values and K-12 Christian education in Florida and has served as the Florida state coordinator for the Exodus Mandate Project from November 2004, until his retirement in 2019.
